Could This Anger be a Result of..... The fact that Prince is exhibiting a more "cultural" sound, that he has turned-away from the pagan-type of behavior and has sought to become a respectable man? Can't help but wonder?

It's probably moreso due to the fact that almost all of his fans think Planet Earth blows.  The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

Prince was never about anything pagan...He is a man that has expressed himself the way his life wanted to, during the times he was living as a performer. As a man that goes home, and takes a shower, and considers it the end of a business day, only to awake the next morning to another agenda...Is only a road that Prince has been traveling for him.
If Prince wants to grow toward another day, He will dress in what is comfortable, for the day. When there are 5 ways to drive to work....variety is necessary, We understand the shortcuts, and we know the long way home. Prince knows how to drive his own vehicle....And it appears to me, that God has been in his driver's seat, all of his life...no matter, if he wore, peace, frustration, lonliness, success, disappointment, excitement, jealousy, generosity, determination, love, or integrity. I don't know...sticks and stones...you know the rest. I highly doubt that someone of Prince's stature is worried about a few names....I'm commenting on the fact that many here at the Org seem to have a serious problem with the fact that Prince is not acting as he did in the past (when he was 20 years old) as if any of us "more seasoned" Orgers do the same things we did when we were young and didn't care. Simply written: Prince is handling his bizness...don't see why that's a problem.  | |

I use the word "Pagan" with the following meaning "one who has little or no religion and who delights in sensual pleasures and material goods : While this may not have been Prince the man, it certainly appears to have been Prince the performer? And, because some have difficulty distinguishing the man from the performer, the performer becomes the man, hence the anger exhibited as a result of the change...just thinkin aloud. | |

This anger is more about him trying to control the fact that we do remember him when he was 20. We've had some really great times together since then and we're not going to forget them just because he's changed his ways. Especially since when it suits him, he has no problem with us spending our money on him. We can go see his concert but we can't take pictures of the cool pillowcase with his face on it that we just bought and show it to our friends halfway across the world in the quickest, easiest, less expensive way possible?  | |

No, sorry, I don't buy it...No one can control anyone's memories, they're yours to keep. And as far as sharing photos with your friends, that is what email attachments are for. That's completely different from using a public medium to post photos, videos, etc. without the express permission of the author. No disrespect intended....just the way I see it. I've seen many posts saying that Prince should go back to the way he performed previously..obviously not everyone feels that way, but I can't help but question why there's such anger about the natural progression of the career of a performer. his behaviour has everything 2 do with his j.w religion. he's under pressure 2
behave himself & change his lifestyle. problem is he quite clearly has a very dark side 2 his nature, & i doubt he will ever find peace, although i sincerely hope he does. he needs 2 get real. i wish he'd find someone 2 love - other than god & himself... | |
