Ok, i know im not the sharpest pencil in the box but i have a few ideas on why this current situation is going on.

First of all Princes recent albums have sold pretty poorly, he's not the tour de force he once was.. I personally think that he gave his latest album away free with the Mail newspaper because he knew that his material wasn't strong enough to sell enough copies, which would have shown that he is not the great one he once was..

Now he realises his music is not a patch on his old stuff and he's becoming an artist who is only recognised from his past success, not current stuff.. so what does he go and do.. make himself feel that he is still an important force in music and throws his weight around to upset the fans, lose them and then use the excuse that his fans aren't loyal enough etc, that is why he has none left!!
