Well u know.. 1 must question where the 'loyalty' lies I suppose. Well at the moment 'his wishes' rn't xactly crystal clear..but I gather he doesn't want pictures posted of him or his TMs etc. I won't do that anymore. Not just here, anywhere 4that matter, as I've done in the past. And if my understanding is correct, he doesn't want 2 even b discussed here or anywhere else in a public forum, then so b it. Won't stop me doin it in person 2 my friends and neighbours. Won't stop me listening 2 his music and 4ming my own opinion of it. I have 2 say reading many sites online has somewhat influenced my take on his music, not always positively. Perhaps it'd b a nice change 4 me at least. 
Noone should b offended. The effort and coordination that must go in2 running a site like this, which I'm certain spawned from a genuine love of the man and his music is 2 b commended. If Prince's doesn't appreciate it tho.. I mean that's the bottom line...if he doesn't like it or approve, what's the use? really.. It's like staying in a stale relationship. No fun at all. | |

The other thing u gotta keep in mind, it's not the idea of people getting 2gether and discussing Prince and his music, sharing stories, differing opinions and a laugh.

The part that I highlighted is the very reason I'm staying. Yes, Prince has his rights but so do we! We are the consumers. We are the very reason that he has any copyright worth protecting. If we cower to his demands of not discussing his music on a public forum, don't we give him the power to say that we can't discuss his work in any forum, including private. Don't we also give power to all celebrities and public officials, hoping to follow Prince's example? I'll bet money that Web Sheriff thinks so! If Prince, our door opening trend setter, succeeds on this, he'll inadvertently give those web cowboys the clout to turn the net into the wild wild west for real. The fallout from this won't just effect Prince fan sites. If we don't stand up for our rights now, we won't have any later! | |

Why would anyone leave the Org over this?
You AREN'T supporting Prince by coming to this website. The Org is the good guy in this. Leaving the Org basically means you're siding with Prince/the Web Sherrif. | |
