Prince is just being ridiculous with this IMO. Why sue fansites or even threaten to sue them? They are sites that are honoring him and showing him love. If he sues all his fansites, what does he have to gain from it? Most Prince fansites are free to join, so he won't be getting much money, if any for that matter and then he'll just turn off many fans from wanting to support him where he likes to be supported...with album sales and concert ticket sales.
