Prince's SNL appearances I've just been browsing some SNL archive databases and they only have him appearing in 1981 and 2006. So what episode was it that he did Electric Chair in 1989?

He did Electric Chair at the SNL 15th Anniversary Episode. Ok performance, and he had this huge Batman symbol hanging above the stage.

Yeah, I loved the Electric Chair performance (only he messed up the line on "Crimes of Passion" and said "Primes of Passion" and clicked his tongue to try to cover it up But that performance was still awesome! "For those who know the number and don't call...Fuck all y'all"

I like Party Up and Electric Chair performances. During Party Up Prince had alot of engery, also putting the falsetto volcals down pretty good. The Electric Chair performace I think was really good, the guitar solos were the highlight. Both great performances Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

Love the Partyup performance!
Only seen the Electric Chair Performane 1 time, so I don't really remember too much from that performance to rate it! The Fury performance was pretty cool also, I loved the way he walked off the stage like he did in 81 with the Partyup performance! surviving on the thought of loving you, it's just like the water
I ain't felt this way in years...

My favorite is definately the "Partyup" performance. I wish they would have aired it back when VH1 was playing performances from "Saturday Night Live". Andy is a four letter word.

No doubt, Vain. "Party Up" DESTROYS Electric Chair. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

He did Electric Chair at the SNL 15th Anniversary Episode. Ok performance, and he had this huge Batman symbol hanging above the stage. Really? I have the 15th Anniversary video that was officially released and he's not on that. Maybe they cut it because of the music rights.

I'm a big SNL fan for a UK person, so I've got tonnes of stuff downloaded. Most of the 80s seem to be the rarest ones to find anywhere though, especially 81-85 when Lorne Michaels didn't produce it.
