I think I'm fairly up on my Prince vinyl, but came across this today and had never seen it before. Warner promo 12" - JALAWT b/w Soft and Wet. Both "Disco Mix"es in the real old school fashion - where the remixer's name was featured beneath the artist and producer credits (i.e. "A Tom Moulton Mix" " A Larry Levan Mix" or here, "A Jim Burgess Mix") rather than in parentheses after the track title. No cover art, just the old Warner promo sleeve w/ center cut-out to show the track listing. Anyway, the catch. I'm in Japan, and they're selling it for about 85-90 dollars American. What do you think? Is it a good find? Only for the die-hard?

That is one of the top 3 on my want list!!! If you don't want it, buy it anyways and I will gladly pay you for it!!!

Oh I want this so bad!!!!! When I listen to For You that song always ends too fast for me. But I know I can't afford that. One can only dream.

Just as an FYI: The 'Disco Mix' of both Soft & Wet and JALAWT are both the same length as the album versions, they are just different 'mixes', not extended 12 versions. You can hear the difference, but it's slight, don't expect to be blown away by them.

Yeah, noticed that the times were essentially the same. Looks like they're just pitched/slowed down, or maybe quantisized or whatever. Anyway, maybe I'll pick it up. Problem is, I'm moving back to the states, and trying to get rid of stuff, not buy more! Anyway, thanks for the responses.
