Ironically, u will find other's mentioning that I should write a book on the points or angles that I brought up in these threads. And this is hardly the first time that has been mentioned to me. BUT they weren't being spiteful or coming from a hateful place, like from where you were. Brutha B you're right..I never looked at it that way before. Sly and not even P-Funk had white females in their groups in the 70's. Rick James had Teena and a another white female back up singer in his group, but Rick didn't take it further ahead like P did.

I think that element helped him cross over even more. I remember seeing a lot of girls I knew dressing up like Wendy and Lisa after they saw the "Purple Rain" movie or concert.

I've been to London and other countries in Europe. I'm hip to England but I favor Holland. I LOVE that place.
