Which era do I prefer?
Omg... I don't know where to begin. I change my mind so much that this is the best answer I can give. I love all of the eras Prince had gone through. They have their own style, taste and image. I can't pick one over the other because they all appeal to me for different reasons. The best music comes from the 80's, no question. I don't know what the era is except for variety and more really good music.
Now Prince @ Present, I advocate for musically. His music shouldn't be taken for granted because that's what his mind is on these days. Some of the first appearances I saw of Prince were live and televised and I have a nautral preference for him cuz I "saw him first". What comes with him now is music of sophistication and personality that reflect his age & wisdom. Not as good as perhaps some of his 80's work, but I still enjoy it all the same, but for different reasons. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone | |

While I enjoy bits and pieces of every Prince period, I particularly liked Prince before he became a mega star.
Anything that he created from 1978 to Purple Rain seemed so authentic and trailblazing. People tend to change once they reach stardom and not necessarily for the better. love the one who is Love! | |
