A DESPERATE PLEA TO PRINCE ~~~

Prince.. if you or any of your "people" read this...
I gotta ask ya.. No BEG you.....
Not all of us are sitting here with high powered high tech
Computers...
I have been a LOYAL LONG LONG time fan almost from day one,
I am 40 years old and have a Mortgage, car payment, credit
cards etc.. A snazzy computer is low on our list of things my
hubby and I want/need...
Yet, so much of your music, and video's is ONLY made available
to those with the knowledge and means to down load stuff.. sad
I think its great that you want to put out stuff over the "net"
More power to you.... but how about some DVD's and Cds that
we "The old farts" can BUY... I'd gladly pay you lots of money
to get these wonderful video's, and this great music you
create.. but stuff is not around..
We all love you.. and we all want to experience your gift..
So please Please Prince.. don't leave us Computer stupid
people in the dark.. PLEASE.. wink

THANKS FOR LETTING ME VENT~~~~~

I'd particular like 'Horny Toad' remastered on 78 rpm shellac and 'How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore?' on piano roll.
ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

Some of your CDs are not in circulation anymore... anyway you can use a simple HTML page to allow us to buy them off of your 3121 site?

It would be a great idea. Please? pray

Not to discourage you, but if I were you, I would not expect much from this request. He already told his fans to stop giving him our wish lists. wink

Seriously, fans have expressed to him how much we would like videos, cd's ect., and would be more than willing to pay for them. But he is Prince who has a knack for suing fans. Take that as you will.
I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin.

And can you please Play some real Hardcore Funk again..Maybe with the Linn and some Slap Bass..and throw away the stratocaster please..just use the Hohner..and bring back the crazy effects on the drums..flangers,delays.. ect..
oh yeah..and while you are at it..can you please at least rock one split per show..?
you dont have to get super acrobatic with it..just a mini one ..like the kind you used to do when you were on the floor already and you just do a split to get back up instead of using your hands legs and feet like us mere mortals..

Thanks sir.

I totally agree. Grown folks have bills to pay and a computer is a major purchase. People say...."Oh you can get a computer for a few hundred dollars"....hell, do you know how many bills I could pay with a few hundred dollars. Until a computer becomes $100 or less, music never needs to be available by internet only.

And don't get me started on internet service. Even if you have a computer (my mother recently died and left me her's), a monthly high speed internet service (which is too expensive) is required to download songs. When you have a $20 a month dial up service like I do, one song takes three or four hours to download (if the computer doesn't freeze up or shut down before it finishes). Even then, you have to have a CD burner in the computer (which I don't) to get the songs out of the computer and into the stereo.

Give me some music I can buy in the record store. Working grown folks have bills and don't have a "mommy and daddy" to buy them these expensive toys.

That shit's just as expensive & time-consuming to download. More so, probably.

I hear ya Vain..But as a man that once felt like you..I can tell u..
It pays off at the end of the day (especially if you buy, or wish to buy A LOT of music..videos..ect) two cds will cost you roughly $30.00 thats your internet connection right there..(with high speed if you search to find the right one)
and a cd/dvd burner will run you between $40.-$100.00
I am a DOWNLOADING MADMAN ! almost everynight I go to sleep and wake up to some new music..videos..tv shows..dvds..ect..I could easily find and "GET" 10 albums a day OR MORE..add that up...
I have all my old funk vinyl records in storage because I found them all (and more) online ..Im thinking of selling them to a few DJs that are bugging me for them..The initial learning curve/financial layout may appear to be stressful BUT, the happiness you can feel from knowing that if its out there..you can most likely get it, is AMAZING !!! wink

I never download or pay for internet porn. I simply go to the free sites and look at the pictures. If you want to hear me bitch about internet porn, yeah, I have a gripe about it also. It's getting harder and harder to find pictures of real men on the internet with all these men shaving and trimming their pubic hair looking like little boys. Hell, I'm not Michael Jackson. lol And when you search for "bears", the results that come up are usually fat men. You can't win for losing. lol

I used to download for hours back when there were sites like Napster or Kazaa. However, now they have these sites where you pay for downloads which is usually new music (yuk) or something old that was extremely popular which everyone already has anyway. I bet you won't find very many Ebonee Webb songs on the internet to download. lol
