What a dumbass statement - if he's releasing a DVD of his show, he has full control over it. Neither is what he releases "intellectual property" - its an actual physical product. How is looking after your own creations a "weird principle"? If you invented a new product, or produced music of your own, I'm damn sure you'd be protecting your rights and ensuring you got paid! Or, do you go to your job for free? (assuming you are employed). He's released plenty of live material in the past - get over yourself  ...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...
