'heart of stone', i'm gonna go and rename that one then. cheers. I must admit, I am not sure. But it's like Last Heart. That one was called If U break My Heart 1 More Time for quite some years. The title Stone just sounds so much more logical. He keeps repeating it throughout the song, while Heart Of Stone isn't really correct, is it? He sings 'U turn my heart to stone', not 'heart of stone'. Edit PS; Can you believe that song stems from them freaking Emancipation sessions? Probably the catchiest song from the sessions and he shelves it! Typically Prince; mad as a hatter. [Edited 11/1/07 12:55pm] |

[Edited 11/1/07 12:55pm] gosh, as if he left that gem off of the album. for me, that would have topped off emancipation entirely for me, as its one of my favpurite albums by him (just due to the amount of material meaning for a high quantity of tracks i like - there is still a good few songs that he should have left off and replaced with excellent cuts like stone). think it would have made a good single for the album too, like you say, the catchiest track of the session. Wouldn't you love to love me? | |

It's called "Nothing Left To give" I never heard of that possibility. He sings "Nothing Left But A Stone" but that sounds like a daft title. And he repeats the word Stone so often, I went for the that title over Heart Of Stone or even your suggestion. |
