Jeez so today in work I told my work mates I was a Prince fan, and not just a fan but I actually found him attractive...

then came the usual barage of insults and rumours,' how can you like Prince, he doesnt fancy women', or 'hes had one of his ribs removed' or 'i went off him after he turned his babies life support machine off' I was like wtf??!!!

Where do people get this shit? So I put the world to rights, and am preaching the good word about Prince...trying to get these stupid rumours out of peoples heads.

Why is that they only remember stupid nonsense like this and not that he has written some of the most beautiful songs ever???

I was about to say that I've never encountered anyone who said anything bad about him but I just remembered about a year ago that there was once when I mentioned "Prince" and this person had things to say about him. All she said was something like "oh, yeah, him". I just think, whatever they heard about him was years ago, and this incident was fairly recent. People do change so I was wondering what she was tripping about, but I didn't say anything except, "Well, people can change". I remember that I was beginning to become defensive so I just ended the conversation with, "Oh whatever".


People can be so judgemental. But whatever, these people!

If people don't care for someone or something they tend to stick to "negative garbage" whether its a rumor or not. Can't please everyone I guess. As far as I'm concerned I love Prince so thats all that counts.

If he did have the baby's machine turned off it was probably due to the fact that the child was apparently suffering and/or would have had to live with a disease all his life. At least the baby is with God.
