Is Prince Breaking Legs? a psychotic is someone who just figured out what's going on | |

So, everyone at work knows that I am a Prince fan.
Today, someone comes into my office and tells me that, a few nights ago, they were watching that reality show on the Food Network called "Ace of Cakes." Apparently, one of the girls that works at the cake shop that is the subject of the show was in a wheel chair with a cast running hip to ankle. When asked what happened to her leg, the girl said that she was at a Prince concert, front row. She explained that the girl next to her was yelling at Prince during one of his guitar solos, screaming "Go shorty, go shorty." According to my coworker, this girl explained that Prince heard someone yelling "go shorty," thought it was the girl on the reality show, came off stage and kicked her and broke her leg. I'm like  wtf?
I can't believe this is true, but my coworker says the girl was being serious about it. Whatever, its reality TV, but has anybody heard anything about this incident? I am sure that P would get all bitchy about someone calling him shorty, but I can't imagine that he would resort to violence, much less in the middle of a show. Prince doesn't do this.
Maybe she was confusing the Little Funky One with Sir Paul McCartney. Rumor has it that Heather Mills was once quoted as saying that, as short as her relationship with the lower-limb abusive ex-Beatle was, she would've left him even sooner, but found it quite difficult to run away from a man who was beating her with her own leg. // [Edited 10/30/07 23:43pm] | |
