Axl needs to get off the stage, stop yowling like a boiled pussycat and focus on "Chinese Democracy", the greatest album that's never been sold!

That performance was WACK!

Nice to see Prince though. He must have suffered during that set... I'm sure he was thinkin' "Get that sad sack off the stage and let me up there..."

That would have been awesome. To see Prince do a rendition of Knockin' on Heavens Door... A fan can dream...

A couple of the points you made are entirely subjective, and I will point out that he does write, and he does play - but really, your ignorant and outdated 'racist' comment immediately renders any argument you may have completely invalid. And as this is a Prince site, I'll end it there.

yeah right Don't let the man take away from the art. Everyone from steven tyler, brian may to elton john has said axl is a great talent

Ever heard november rain or estranged?Axl composed them to songs on piano homself and they are brilliant.
sweet child o' mine, welcome to the jungle?

He plays piano very well; easily as good as Prince

As a person he is a sick, violent rapist.

His former wife told of how he anally raped her and beat her for years. His ex fiance also said the same. Slash's girlfriend testified in court to heaing axl beat his wife erin. There's many more account as well including a rape charge which was later dropped.

However in the last decade he seems to have changed and clamed down after exstensive therapy.

really only axl was accused of being racist, and the rest by extension for playing on it. i can only assume slash ever played on the damn thing (or the rest of them) because they were so wasted all the time back then.

i want you to defend these lyrics against being racist. and "slash is half-black" is not a defense; he didnt write the lyrics, axl did. explain how someone who isn't racist could have written these lyrics.

"Could be my way
Police and niggers
That's right
Get out of my way"

"Immigrants and faggots
They make no sense to me
They come to our country
And think they'll do as they please
Like start some mini Iran
Or spread some fucking disease
They talk so many goddamn ways
It's all greek to me "

neither "faggot" or inmmigrant in that context.

the "nigger" thing could be related to the war between niggers and police. like hating both but its funny how some black people can say "nigger" and its fine.

some black people say "cracker" as morris day in his songs...

theres no way Slash would agree with any racist quote

It's 2007...

1. Mulatto
a.An offensive term for somebody who has one black and one white parent.
b.An offensive term for somebody who has both black and one white ancestor.

2. Cracker
a.It is not the same as the n-word. Cracker wasn't used by an entire race/country to degrade and hurt people…for no reason.

3. Don’t say “how come black people call each other it.” That is never an excuse to ‘OK’ something. I hear white folks making fun of all races and doing a lot of dirty stuff but does that give me the right to act that way or say hurtful things?

I don’t like anyone saying it but I dang sure don’t want to hear some rocker saying in front of 10,000 white kids.

I am not perfect and we all put our foot in our mouths and say hurtful things but there are somethings you just don't say...or just expect a foot in the ass to go with the one in your mouth.

u need to relax.

mulatto is not ofensive at all unless u wanna get really stupid. one day "black" is gonna be ofensive too.

in africa in some tribes they laugh at white folks and treat mixed people like shit and nobody calls them racist.

oh just because "cracker" is not as extended as "nigger" (even black people say that word to each other with no racist context at all) its not as bad...right! makes a lot of sense and does not contradict urself at all (being ironic in case u ...)

The definition of the word mulatto is not offensive but where it came from is. It came from the latin word mule, Biracial offspring were once referred to as donkeys or mules back in the day. That's why the word is offensive. Not only that, but it's outdated.

It's a damn song. Don't you guys know the difference?? You can use words like Cracker, Nigger, Faggot, White Bread etc.. FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

If you target someone and call them a nigger/cracker directly for no reason whatsoever, you get in trouble..think Imus. Chris Rock knows the difference, he could use the words nigger and white bread no problem. But you don't see him going into a grocery store and calling a clerk a dumb white bread jackass!

you are mindblowingly ignorant. let me spell it out for you, chuckles. "cracker" is a stupid ethnic slur which is just that, a stupid ethnic slur. but white people were not oppressed for centuries as subhuman "crackers", centuries where they were constantly beaten over the head with the word "cracker" as a means to remind them that they were seen as a lower form of life. words are not just empty vessels with dictionary definitions, they have histories and contexts. the word "nigger" was an intrinsic, crucial tool of slavery; a means by which to categorize black people as slaves, as subhuman. when a white person says the word "nigger" to a black person in an accusatory way, whether they intend to or not, or whether they realize it or not, they are automatically condoning slavery, they are automatically condoning every white racist who has ever beaten down a black person while calling them a "nigger", they are automatically condoning the entire culture of white-on-black racism that has developed in the West for centuries. that is the power of that word.

and yeah, "black people say it too", but if you cant see the massive difference in resonance and context between a white person calling a black person a nigger in an accusatory manner and a black person calling another black person a nigger in a friendly manner, you should probably shoot yourself in the face for being so goddamn stupid. it's the same in the uk with asians; "paki" is a word to refer to pakistanis, used by pakistanis themselves as well as by other non-pakistani asians (and even other white people depending on the context, if they're brave enough and know who they're talking to enough). outside of the uk it's meaningless; i think even george bush used the word "pakis" once in an official speech to refer to the pakistan administration. but a white british person calls any brown british person a "paki" in an accusatory manner, they are automatically endorsing every piece of violence, abuse and discrimination handed out to asian immigrants and their descendants by members of the white majority in the uk over the last fifty years. words have histories and words invoke things; that's just the way it is.

oh mr chuckles calls me ignorant....hhmmm...
1st of all nigger is NEGRO (spanish term) but english speakers could not say it correctly. "NIGER" means negro in LATIN. originally not offensive at all as NEGRO is just a way of calling some african races as well as "white" is for caucasians europeans..."BLACK" was offensive in slavery era in the US so they were using the spanish term NEGRO instead. that NEGRO derived to "nigger".

any word can be disrespectul depending on the way or context ur using. morris day and prince kinda laugh at how white people dance and it seems funny for everyone and if someone white laughs at how black people dance or speak or whatever its found offensive. i lived in harlem and iv been called all types of names. even "european"...so if i was beaten down while some black person calls me "european" or "jew"? these terms should be considered a disrespectful term (¿¿??)...

mulatto comes from "mulus" refering to a kind of donkey but ALSO as a strong person. whatever it is in spanish countries is not an offensive term.

btw u should concentrate n the issue and not on the people. thats a basic rule in negotiation or discussing topics in any seminar. dont call me stupid or ignorant when u dont even know me or my background so please stick to the issue.
