Band members family and friends and Paisley staff ALL have to pay for tix to shows and aftershow parties. Tyka always trys to get herself and her 'entourage' in for free and when they tell her to pay she trys to sneak in(on a side note Tyka has a nastier attitude then i've ever seen Prince display. She is convinced her shit dont stink and she has b.o.) Prince pays scale but being that if you are in the band you are on call 24/7, the musicians mainly do it for the incredible experience of getting to perform with the greatest musician alive today. It's almost more accurately an internship and they know they can and will be replaced in a second if they dont like it. Getting Prince to sign the checks is another story altogether however he does sign them personally,its one of the very very few places he will sign his name. It's an ongoing joke that he signs the checks hoping you dont cash the check because you want to keep his autograph. And dont ask for my sources -none your damn business!
