With long-established acts like the Eagles, I can't say as I blame them. They were probably in the same boat with Prince, contract wise, and are now getting a little of that back. Look for this to become the norm - a prediction, if you will.

Their first greatest hits album is one of the bigest selling albums of all time outselling The Beatles and Elvis etc.

I actually like The Eagles though I wouldn't want to see them old fat wrinkly barstools staggering on stage to fluff up their pension funds and have my illusions shattered. Not for that price anyway.
