I loved the black & white. I hated the acting even though it was bearable.

LOVE :

* The fashion

* The humour - so many classic one liners.

* The music. Duh.

* Black and White - added a special something to it.

* "We'll be landin' on the moon in 3 minutes" - he sounds so wasted when he says that

* Jerome - almost outshines Prince. He's just plain cute.

HATE :

* The Sharon Family - I wanna smack them all, especially the dad. And how Mary was supposed to be some sort of "good girl" yet she flashed everyone in her first scene. Inconsistency much? What did that scene have to do with anything anyway?

* How Chris treats Ms Wellington or whoever. And how she lets him.

* How Chris basically asked for it by deliberately angering the dad numorous times, making it hard @ home for Mary and worse for those two to be together. It's like he just HAS to do something if he wants to, despite her telling him it was dangerous.

* The ending. Talk about not knowing what to do so just saying "Ok lets shoot him and get it over with!"

* How Chris acted like Mary was his even though it was obvious she preferred Tricky @ the start and basically almost ruined his friendship with Trick.

UTCM was shot in and around Nice. The studio used: Studios de la Victorine - 16 avenue Edoard Grinda, Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, France. Personally I think the surroundings are perfect. So is Paris, but that's a whole different story.

my favorite scene in the movie is when.. Mary Sharon 1st sees Prince.. the camera zooms in on him and that 'look' on his face... .. very dreamy ..

The 1st time I saw it,I was like

the film was miss-understood. my take is that prince was on the 1920's 30's vibe in the way of film making. the humour was also miss-understood. one of my fav parts was the "girls and boys" section. the video was funky 2.

But that's one of my favorites cuz even though the acting is so bad, it's hilarious (especially when he gets back into the car and it looks like he misses )...
