Eye would like 2 hear some of your points of view. We all know that there r 100's of unreleased studio boots floating around. My question is, how r they getting out of the vault? Eye asked an npg employee at xenophbia how this happens but he really didn't give me a straight answer. Think about it. Prince has his vault that very few people have access 2. Eye want 2 know how these boots from 1977 til now have surfaced from the vault?

Prince like alot of Cats in the Business&Not in the Business gives Music to friends,Lovers, or throws things in the Garbage Can&somebody is there to pass it along&sell it.but alot of it was Prince's Doing&that has alot to do with Prince Being Prince in the first place because take away the Outtakes,Demos,Boots,etc.. then He might have been done long ago?? those things always seem to bring Peace of Mind to many folks especially back in the day.more folks were probably Jamming to the Outttakes&whatnot than the actual Album Versions or whatever Album he had out&Prince knows this.but since He doesn't have WB Behind Him then all of the Free Music has slowly Wanned.notice how the locks on the Vault has become tighten with each passing year???

mistermaxxx... well put... I would have simply said it like this...PRINCE himself!!! There is absolutley no way that finished, perfect quality trax that fill 3 CD boots along with extravagant artwork and packaging in sets such as Deposition, Fantasia, H2O, and sooo many other pieces without the assistance and help from the man himself. He probably owns and operates Mooraker and Thunderball Records. Look at all the pictures that show up on these "boots", i.e. the cover of Sun, Moon and Stars, the cover Deposition, the cover for The Dream Factory. Where the hell did they come from? Sure looks like he posed and smiled for them to me!!! Prince is a very shrewd business man who has global connections and distrubution affilates. Is there any real question where these came from? Not in my mind!

I believe what got Prince's skirt all ruffled a few years back about these so called "boots", wasn't so much that they existed, but that what was out there were knock-offs, copies, forgeries of the product HE helped to create. He was beening cut out... that's what pissed him off! He doesn't mind us all sharing, as long as no one but him is able to profit from it...rightfully so really.

I had no idea I felt so strongly an about this... conspiacy theories aside, who really cares where they come from... I only wish that more were out there. I am dying for some NEW material. God, please give us something new from our little man!!! For peetsake!!!
