If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

It's true not enough people heard THE TRUTH..

Personally would prefer a new studio album... Preferably something avante-garde totally different from music of the past 50 years perhaps with new non-linear thinking on instrumentation, such as a kick drum is no longer thought of as the low bass percussion in the center of the mix but now use two of them left/right, basically throwing much of what has been established and creating something fresh, invigorating with new sounds..almost like we need new instruments.. basically the goal would be to create sounds no one has ever heard before and place them in a catchy song arrangement. Tall order yes, but hey a challenge is a chance to prove you're best.

The True Challenge is using the same instruments we have always had and composing new music with them smile

I'd just prefer a project where one of the goals was the actual sound to be different from anything else out there, and not digital computer sounding either..something warm/fuzzy with life... kind of like what the Parade album achieved. It would take some work.

That's almost the last thing we need. Especially as that's what we're getting from all the digital music toys. Everything is already used as something else because no one knows what's supposed to sound like it should. So many of today's producers wouldn't know what to do with with a real instrument if their cheese careers depended on it.

The avante garde idea is nice...but it's for a higher audience...and there's only two people sitting in it.

Why not a double album 1 CD for new material and another one being a live acoustic album (the studio tracks played live for example...)

Yes. The (Something) Sessions . And it should all be filmed (Doc style). You get to keep the kazoo, for the idea. Whatever is next, I kinda hope the lyric is introspective...or maybe not. Just no "butts like leather seats" and things like that.

Well if we get both, how great would that be smile
In a way I guess Musicology/3121/Planet Earth can be viewed as somewhat of a trilogy after all music from these three albums on the whole can be easily digested by the public.
I guess I would love to hear something new, something different, away from the norm.
On another note how great would a 21 Nights in london package be, talking about audio and visual. Well we can wish .....I guess smile

What about a live recording of totally unreleased and new songs ?

A kind of party with few guests for audience, a kind of intimate club session, only with real and live musicians in the band, no or almost no computer soundz, but a big band I mean one living soul behind each sound...
