Purple Rain re-release....hypothetically speaking of course. I just posted a post over in the non-prince forum about MJ re-releasing thriller. Now how cool would that be if Prince did the same with PR. Mike is supposedly remixing some of his songs. Which songs would you like to be remixed off of PR. | |

Oh please no! I can hear it now...

The last thing the world needs is some awful remixes of Purple Rain tracks by over the hill dance acts like Basement Jaxx or idiot "urban" producers like Timbabland featuring 'flava' of the month cookie-cutter guest rappers. As for Prince remixing them himself, I refer you to 1999: The New Master. 'Nuff said. | |

As classic as "Let's Go Crazy" is...
I would to hear it even harder...more gritty, ugly guitar, *crunch*crunch*crunch* soaring and diving, expanding and contracting until your ears are bleeding and your eyes melting. Yeah. And take "Take Me With You" back to the vault.
