Not a good idea to post images of bootleg DVDs here.

As I understand it, there was an official release of The Undertaker in Europe. However, given that the images shown here were apparently from an unauthorized copy. and in light of the WebSheriff/DMCA ongoing matter, I've decided to remove them. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The Undertaker was officially released on Video in Europe (and probably on Laserdisc in Japan too). It has never been officially released on DVD anywhere.

Many many moons ago I bought what I thought was an official CD release of the Undertaker. At the time I wasn't that clued in to what Big P was up to and saw this CD in a legitimate (I hasten to add!) music shop. My copy is great - really good quality artwork, CD printing and proper-seeming credits and even a sleeve that folds out to a poster of the symbol guitar (maybe you can see why I thought it was legit.)

Obviously I know now it was some sort of audio rip of the video, but the sound is ace and his playing IS great - he's really got his 'guitar head' on for that one. Brilliant version of Bambi...

Never seen the actual footage, but maybe someday... wink

It's one of my all-time favourite Prince projects, I have the original European VHS - I got it on eBay and have seen a couple on there since. DEFINITELY pick it up if you ever get the chance. The plot/visuals are a bit naff, but the music makes up for it 10-fold guitar

I have the VHS. I love how stripped down the jams are (i.e. there are only 3 of them playing as opposed to full NPG with dancers etc), and even though there are only a handful of songs, every one's a winner! biggrin
Oh, and I can't help it, everytime I watch it I always think "stop filming her dancing with that doll, and turn the camera to the band!"

Yeah, It came out at the same time as The Sacrifice of Victor (an aftershow in London '93).

I've got them both on VHS - It's good but I prefer the Sacrifice - brilliant version of The Ride and a stormin' Peach.
