I remembering hearing the different versions on radio in Chicago and actively seeking them out. That is back when radio was my main source for Prince music. | |

It's funny that Howard Stern mentioned the "Batman" sountrack being a great sountrack (when discussing the Vanity Fair list) and mentioend songs on the album including "Arms of Orion" (he actually wanted them to be played...like their system is carrying that one!) but didn't mention "Scandalous". It's probably one of the few songs on there that can stand on it's own and is worthy of a better album. | |

Justin Timberlake and Timbaland liberally lifted elements from this groove along with "Erotic City" and "Adore" for his "Until The End Of Time" radio hit. This song is pure Prince from the minimalist, airy and spacy synths to the instantly recognizable falsetto. I wonder why this song rarely gets played on adult contemporary radio since it is an old school Prince tune. 3121 #1 THIS YEAR |
