Great story! Apollonia has all the charisma of a piece of wood in that movie. GG would have been way better but I guess she didn't want to become one of a crowd, one of P's 'girls'.

Btw, Bound is a fantastic film, with or without the one sex scene in it. Well two really. She's even better in various episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Don't even get me started on the genius of Showgirls!!

Gina, Gheena --- what's the difference? Sounds like it's pronounced the same It's not like her name would have been Beatrice or Umfoofoo or something. But it's just as well she went to college.

I caught some of "Bound" once on cable, it looked ok but nothing to write home about. I do like Gina as an actress she would have been a hell of a lot better than Crapples as Vanity's replacement in PR.

Showgirls was a horrible movie.

Nah,....I don't believe any of this. I don't think P EVER asked Gina to replace Vanity. One, she doesn't or didn't look shit like Vanity. Which was a CRUCIAL element in Vanity's replacement. P and the producers auditioned hundreds of Vanity look a likes. It was important to keep Vanity's likeness in that role. Second, it was a requirement that the actress would also go on to cut the followup to the Vanity 6 album. P wouldn't have wanted Gina to front Gina6 with Brenda and Susan. I've always like Gina, thought she was cute but she was waaay too rough, too tomboyish for that role. Not the pinup baby doll of Vanity/Apples. Gina probably has slept with P either then or since the movie and so she's coming out with this shit now. And what better time. I also don't believe P would have risked having a white girl as his love interest just yet. He didn't want to upset his black following, especially with the black girls. He already caught hell when he did UTCM. Plus he already had Brenda in the group.
