well i never cry at songs i probably would have said.....that was until i went to see prince at the o2: now purple rain and nothing compares 2 u, omg, i have to be feeling very brave to listen to them now!!!!! seeing them sung live, completely and utterly took my breath away (and my ability to hold it together) me and londoner sobbed like babies

I might say that Until Ur IN My Arms Again never did anything for me until I found out it was supposedly about the baby and not about a woman. Suddenly it felt very different.

In the same vein, Let's Make a Baby is really sad now. Even the tone of the music is very lonely & sad.

Listening to the version of it he did at the O2 on the 21st for his Finale makes me shiver its that good. Nearly cried when i heard it for the first time again

For me, it would have to be "Last December" Following the death of a close family member which happened to be in the month of December, the opening line of this song breaks my heart every time I hear it.
