Is there any certain era that you're most into right now?

Is there any particular album or tour that you find you're listening to the most? If there is,which is it?

I've said once before that before coming to Prince's world, I was a wandering soul in the music world.

Lately, I've come to find that here in Prince's world, it's no different. There's just so much music that I can't stay in one place for too long. I have to keep moving so I can experience everything I can and get the most out of it.

A couple of weeks ago, I listened to Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic for an entire week and listened to no other albums. It was fun. I never spent so much time with any one album before.

Right now, I'm kinda into Purple Rain... but I made a mix CD today.
Tomorrow, I'll probably be onto something else.

Gotta keep moving and pretty much following whatever mood I'm in. But today, I played Prince songs randomly by listening to the "stream of consciousness" I had. Whatever song came to mind, I'd play it. And they were between Controversy and Purple Rain.

I'm really into 1985-86 right now. I'm trying to find concert footage, but alas. Actualy, I think this might turn out to be my all time SECOND favorite era, behind controversy/1999 days. I just love how bright it is, you know.

'93 -'95 (Undertaker & Gold Experience albums and live/TV appearances). Many consider this period a low point, but I loved it. He knocked out some great songs and some incredibly funky musicianship. Especially into watching his Canal+ rehearsal at the mo.

I'm giving Prince a rest right now. He hasn't put out anything that I've liked since ONA. My old favorites aren't calling to me lately. I hope that they will again, eventually.

Same here. Planet Earth sucking and In Rainbows pwning has drained my Prince enthusiasm for now.

I know what you mean. Once that album rubbed off on me I couldn't stop listening to it. Don't even get me started on Rave "In2" The Joy Fantastic.
