I wouldn't call my sweetie a "fan," but he appreciates Prince's musicianship and enjoys going to concerts with me because he loves to watch me at them. (There's nothing he likes more than seeing me have a good time, Lord love him.)
He's also met some of my online "Prince friends," so when he can't go or doesn't feel like going to a show...he's comfortable with my going alone and meeting friends there. And sometimes, when he's on the road and missing me...he listens to the Prince music I put on his iTunes.  We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |

my boyfriend (3 years on Oct 31st!!! YAY!) appretiates his music. if i play prince in my car, which is always, hell tease me and then if he know s the song he'll start singing along.
one day me and him were bantering back and forth and he started qoting lines from raspberry beret and i started quoting them back at him! it was so great! it definitely caught me by surprise b/c i didnt think he knew the words to the song. haha! ...i think secretly hes a fam, but he doesnt want to admit it!.....lol here is a pic of me and him from a while ago...
