Michael,Madonna,Prince, and Janet were the new hot stars of the 80s. Depsite their hugeness their popularity has declined in The US.

Accept doe maybe the last one they're all more popular in other countries. Prince and Madonna can play stadiums worldwide and poor Michael can' even tour the US.(He could but I guess he wouldn't settle for normal attendence).

So I want to know what it would take to bring these superstars back in The United States. Radio has abandoned Prince, Janet, and Madonna. Michael
s new release might have some chance. WOnder if touring would help Michael. Although traditional R&B stations played Michael's last release he blames his lower success in America on Tommy Mitola saying he didn't promote him and was acist. FUnny he married Mariah Carrey who is not just white and sold well in America.

I think Prince shoudl keep playing arenas in the states while he still can. Tina Turner can sellout arenas here which boogles my why Michael doesn't attempt to tour here. If Beyonce, and Usher can draw crowds I'm sure he could. I know touring is supposed to help your career but who doesn't know Michael Jackson. Well apparently it does help cause Whitney has hardly toured at all and some blame that on the downfall of her career.

Do you think it would be so bad that we'll see Prince, Michael, Madonna, and Janet on one ticket? Ahh, The eighties icon tour, but who would be the headliner and would end the show? Or worse Prince not the headlining act.

the music industry is in shambles and radio sucks really bad. i think the pop stars of the 80's are doing just fine right where they are.

Anybody can make it there, that's why merican stars come there when they're not hot here.
