The Funky New Album Entitled...

KERCHUNK!

Does anyone remember that KERCHUNK part of 2 Whom It May Concern?

I remember that sound outside of the song. Did Prince use it at the start of the 1992 tour, with that female voice reading all them lines (Prince's mother's name is Matty, etc) or was it on the Sexy MF video single, as a sort of commercial?

I forgot. Help me out here.

It was used in a video advert for the then forthcoming "prince" album during
the Diamonds And Pearls tour. "Coming soon, the funky new album from
Prince and the New Power Generation entitled ssssshhhhhdink!" It included
a few clips from various videos shot for the album, and mentioned a few of the
song titles like 'Blue Light', 'Sexy MF', '3 Chains O' Gold' 'And God Created
Woman'. Due to this advert, the album got unoffically christened the
"shh-ding" album by some band members and crew. cool

I'm 99,9% sure that it's also on the Sexy MF VHS-single, as a kind of "hidden track"...

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Didn't Eminem sample that sound too on "Without Me" when he talks about Prince?
