one of my favorite songs on the album.
probably my fav in terms of BIGGER stuff. it's just the intimate love songs always come first in my mind. i've cried to many of the songs on this album. but this song still deeply affects me. i think i had an a-ha moment w/it more than once. in sum, it is one of my fav P songs EVER. | |

He joined the Smashing Pumpkins on tour in the mid 90's and died of a heroin overdose. | |

How so? He should have hired Michael B. for this song. Prince ain't a great drummer anymore. His drumming on the first 2 albums was OK, but it very much decayed through the years. | |

His snare work on Lady Cab Driver and Tamborine is great and his drumming on the track Crystal Ball is quite outstanding (for a multi-instrumentalist anyway) and his more recent drumming has been just fine (alot more tracks from his last 3 albums have him playing drums more than adequately). Prince also is not playing live drums on this track - they actually sound more programmed than live beats. In either case, they would have either been played or programmed by Kirk J.
