I wanted to report that I have been in touch with the powers-that-be and we have reached a compromise, and I will continue to post interesting and entertaining interviews and photos. I do want to make a few very important remarks about all of this: • It was NEVER my intention to in any way harm or damage Prince. I simply spent a good deal of time in his company, and wanted to revisit some of the "good old days" with old friends/colleagues/co-workers and new friends who are fans of the man, the music, and the entire era. • Secondly, Prince DOES CARE about his fans. That was emphasized to me today. He is most assuredly not interested in people who are telling false stories, or capitalizing on his image without his permission. He has been informed that True Prince Stories is not about that, I will work diligently to assure the site content remains above the board and respectful Thank you again for the encouragement and support. ...This whole thing has been about respect, and freedom of speech. I will continue to post my stories which is what I wanted all along. I believe that after today HQ and the Org will be able to operate with out problems as well. Isn’t that what we all want? Great job! You stood up for your rights while at the same time showing respect and resolving an issue so us common fans can continue to enjoy your website, the ORG, HQ, etc....THANK YOU!!!!! It would appear that Prince and his cohorts hit upon Housequake and TPS.
Is it just me or do you find the statement a little bit odd: 1. Who has done the bullying! surely not Prince as later on in the statement he states that Prince cares about his fans and is only after people telling false stories and capitalizing on his image. So who exactly has bullied TPS? 2. If he refuses to be bullied why compromise and make minor changes, seems to me like the bullying tactics worked then! 3. Nice to know that as long TPS keep saying nice things about Prince they will be left alone, what the hell happened to Freedom of Speech Let's all hope that Prince does not turn his attention to prince.org.
