Dear Supporters of TPS:

Thank you for supporting my stance to not be bullied as regards the True Prince Stories website. I literally received thousands of emails.

I wanted to report that I have been in touch with the powers-that-be and we have reached a compromise, and I will continue to post interesting and entertaining interviews and photos. Although we are not going away, there will be some minor changes to the website.

I do want to make a few very important remarks about all of this:

• It was NEVER my intention to in any way harm or damage Prince. I simply spent a good deal of time in his company, and wanted to revisit some of the "good old days" with old friends/colleagues/co-workers and new friends who are fans of the man, the music, and the entire era.

• Secondly, Prince DOES CARE about his fans. That was emphasized to me today. He is most assuredly not interested in people who are telling false stories, or capitalizing on his image without his permission. He has been informed that True Prince Stories is not about that, I will work diligently to assure the site content remains above the board and respectful

its always nice to hear that things can be decided mutually! To me you sound like a very respectful person and I did not see anything worrying on the site. i am sure that by setting this tone now, people who visit the site will realise it is not there for any other purpose than to share your experiences

I am honestly glad to hear that Huckie. There has never been anything exploitive or sensationalistic about the stories and always put Prince in a favorable light. We have to be patient with Prince too, he doesn't have all the time in the world to look over his image. He hires people to do a job and I'm sure they sometimes make mistakes in looking out for him.

would be nice if Prince.org gives us an update about their experiences ....

I had just recently discovered TPS a few days ago, and have been reading the very, very interesting stories there. I can't see where Prince would have ever had a problem with anything that I saw posted there, in fact it seems to me that he should have been flattered that he had meant so much to you with the impression he made on your life. I'm glad your issues seem to have been ironed out, because you appear to be a genuinely nice and respectful guy to me, Hucky. Continued good luck and success to you.

Hucky you are a class act. I glad that you stood your ground. From the stories that I've read you in no way intended to slander Prince in any way. You just told stories that mainly involved you and others that work for Prince. There's nothing wrong about that. I look forward to seeing more candid pictures and hearing more stories. All it does is give us(fans)an insight of what it's like to be in the company of Prince.

The issue is not about being chicken. It is about not getting deep pockets angry. Sure Mr. Austin could fight it out and may (not sure what the terms of the NDA are) well win, but at what cost?
