Prince Music Philosophy

I am attempting to open a mature discussion about the philosophy of love
within Prince music. Beyond the talent of a great band, and great vocals.
The man has had something to say through the years, this is why, I respect him
so much. Going back to "Around the world in a day." Listening to the song,
"The Ladder." The song is so spiritually leading. I can't go on enough about,
how Prince has changed the world with this love, for those of us that got
woven into it...

Long before, religions, went their seperate historical directions, it was the poet/philosopher that engraved that road for, Christianity.

Crossing my mind just now, is the thought of the powerful impact of the song, "Everyday People." and..."When will there be a harvest for the world."
Vanessa style...

What Prince songs, have added to your spiritual growth, I realize it could be many...However, what song would you say, made a beautiful difference in your outlook of the condition of the world?

'The ladder' is one of my personal favorites when it comes to his spiritual songs. Also 'Still would stand all time', 'The love we make' and 'The holy river' are pretty deep.
Lately I've been listening a lot to SST. The lyrics are just beautiful:

Who will be a guest in your tent?
Are you gonna be happy with how your life is spent?
Did you have open arms for each and everybody you met?

Or did you let them die in the rain?
Endless war, poverty or hurricane?
It's time for another groove
Like Sade's Sweetest Taboo

His spiritual songs always get to me, I just love them!
love the one who is Love!

Religon is just something to control the masses - sorry but thats how i feel.

However - i agree 'The Ladder' is a very gospel like moving song
