? about second verse of 'Face Down' Was it about the Michael Jackson child abuse allegations and how Michael got out of it?
Haven't noticed it before but it sure sounds like it.

It's actually a reference to WB's refusal to let Prince release 'Love Sign' as a one off single. At the time he felt it was an important statement on gun control, it was written very quickly in response to an incident (the exact details of which escape me) involving children taking guns to school. | |
