1999 - new appreciation for it I've always liked this song, but since the O2 concerts in London I like it ever more!
Everytime I listen to it now, I can't help but think of Prince and the Twinz coming onto the stage for the first time and playing the full version, with Prince smiling his way all through it. I loved the concerts they opened with this song. The smoke coming up from the stage, the dancing, the sounds, the excitment! | |

Yep quite a few times. I went to the show on the 6th and he opened with Lets Go Crazy and then went straight into the full version of 1999. The place went nuts !!  "Pretty Mummy, this loco right ?" (3121) | |
