Did you ever see this dvd?

he wanst doing the splits. he was just checking if the carpet worked.

I think this will ease all doubts.....

That was the last time he did that, he might have hurt himself, that looked painful for a 40 year old man.

I believe, it was somewhere towards the middle of the show.

I remember back in 86, during the Parade tour, I saw him on the second day of his concert; he hurt himself doing the splits on the first day and had to cut his show short. He was only 28 then...

^He always did the splits like that, with the back leg bent. The only thing I noticed in the last few years he was doing them (c.1997-2000) is that he lost the ability to slide back up as gracefully as he used to. But that bit in the RAVE DVD is still FUNKY!!
