Do U think Prince is cool with this site?

from what i've experienced, i don't think prince is terribly preoccupied with this site one way or another.

I sure hope he's cool with it!

My guess is he deems it a trashy site - so he couldn't give 2 cahoots about it - 'm sure he has enough on his plate 2 worry about what's discussed here (since the majority of discussion is mindless drivel).

On that melodious note, this site does have its golden parachutes - providing a forum 2 intelligently discuss prince as an artist and pioneer....on this level it serves its purpose.

I don't think he cares either.

I mean, the site is "independant and unofficial" right?

I think he has things higher on his priority list than coming to this site and doing whatever he pleases to restrict it.

There are a few possibilities.
*He doesn't visit here at all.
*He visits and doesn't have the time to bother restricting it
*He visits and he's perfectly cool with it because he knows what his fanatics and friends are capable of.

I'd love to believe the last one personally, but what do I know?

never thought about it. most of the times prince is not a person to me.

If I was him, I wouldn't be!

i dont know him as a person and i never talked to him so hes an icon to me. of course he is a person but when i hear the word prince i relate it to what he represents 2 me and not a 50 year old man that poos and pees as we all do

I'm the same way, but whenever I listen to his music, I feel like its getting to know who he really is. His songs is where he says what he truly feels (I've heard during interviews with other band members that he doesn't usually come right out and say exactly what's on his mind). So in that way, its getting to know him as a person with music that comes from the heart.

I focus on the music, but I blend in certain things I pick up about him into my listening experiences (like, he was going thru this when he wrote that, that sort of thing). And on occasion, the song will grab me and say that a certain thing going on in my life currently is just like this... happened with me when I listened to "Anotherloverholenyohead" the other day, haha.

I try not to think of the person, Prince too much because it keeps me grounded.
