I thought that line was pretty funny.

That is definately one line in the song the song could have done without.

However, what it refers to is the general "women's rule" that when going out on a date, you don't shave your legs to help insure that you don't rush into sleeping with the person you're on the date with.

Shaved legs=havin sex at some point.

So "You don't need to shave your legs if it ain't me knockin at your door"=You're only having sex with me.

But then everyone already knew that.

I love that line, its the best in the whole song. And the whole song is cool. Its cute/fun sexy.

LOL i have to laugh Happily and LOVINGLY, because i am Forever and Always not having time to shave my legs, i don't know how many times i look down at my legs and say, " i have to shave them again?" F---! It was a nusaince to shave them before i had kids, but now i have even less time and forget more frequently.And i only shave my calves. because the hair on my top portion of leg just won't shave off anyway, its fine and barely to be seen, eventhough its always there. It reminds me and makes me very conscious of who i am Regina Carma
