Let’s say you order a lamp from Pottery Barn – it’s been 9 months and it hasn’t arrived. You send Pottery Barn an email and they reply with: “High, We’re sorry but we have no in4mation at this time. The manufacturer has decided not to release the lamp. When he does release it, we will let you know”. Meantime your ass is in the dark.

ohmagod Prince needs to pull the plug out of his ass and realize bootlegs are a hugely minute (SP?) section of record purchases. Who cares. Personally . I think we are all Boring with No Lives cause all we do is talk about Prince,Criticize and Gossip. I need a Horny Man is what I Need and probably so do most of yas. Let me say that I think that everyone should respect the wishes of the creator and owner of the music.
I read the posts and it seems to me that the biggest prince bashers are the biggest bootleg owners. If they hate him so much why do they spend so many hours searching for and so much money buying the bootlegs. I think because They really are fans and because they are so fanatical they are ashamed and don't want anyone to know that they are strung out on Prince. So theyt put on this I hate everything about this little MF and I hope he die attitude. But I think I've figured out the Truth. The music is Prince's and let him distrubute it the way he chooses, My view. Peace How you gonna get my back when you fronting. | |

Am I missing out? Probably. 
Will Prince ever thank me for my efforts? No. Of course not. So why be on the up and up? Cuz its the right thing to do. Do I sound like a mighty pious freak?  why yes I do! But being mildly talented myself, I would have the same issues he does about bootlegging. Only problem? My stuff would never be bootlegged cuz its not all that great -- while his stuff is like uncovering hidden treasures.
I don't knock ppl who own or buy, but its just not MY thing. If Prince really upped the NPGMC to a flawless distributing company -- then I think he could turn things around for hisself... but is HE willing to do the work? That remains to be seen. | |
