Where is the "Best of Prince" Collection

I understand he had 3 greatest hits compilations, one even called the "very best of Prince", but there is so much overlap in songs between the three. There is WAY Too much left off that deserves to exist outside their initial release records. Obviously he needs a box set. But it a shame that not one of the three compilations could see fit to include classics like Partyup, It's Gonna Be Lonely, Sexuality, Lady Cab Driver, DMSR, The Beautiful Ones, America, Batdance, Anna Stesia, Fury, Dinner With Delores, The Holy River , Etc. I think I just named quite a good record.

I was just listening to "Misses" by Joni tonight, maybe Prince needs a compilation along these lines.

Side note 1, I think Warner Bros may be obligated to not release anymore Prince compilations

Side note 2, How can you have an Ultimate Prince without "Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad"

Hey there is the Hits/B-sides cd which has a lot of unreleased songs on it/b-sides and it has why you wanna treat me so bad on-which I love by the way.

But your right too, I was thinking this the other day, there is no greatest hits with Gold on its like Prince's hits stop after a certain time according to compilation makers!
Oh Princey if your free for a couple of hours...If you aint busy for the next 7 years...Lets Pretend were married, and go all night..

Why are you always saying what Prince needs to do? Do you know what YOU need to do?

Maybe because it wasn't a big hit, nor is it a paricularly popular song and he never plays it himself anymore. The same can be said for many but not all of the above songs.

Considering actual hits were left off - Batdance, Anotherover, Girls & boys, Peach, it's not really that surprising. They were all essentially hits collections. A box set would be different and would be much wider in scope. But until that day...
