What's your favorite Prince song that's longer than 8 minutes?
Could be album version or an extended version.

Mine are:
Purple Rain (original recording that runs for 16+ minutes)
Come (album version- 11:05)
Computer Blue (full version)

but I think "America" (extended version) is my favorite. He keeps things interesting for the 20+ minutes it runs for, changing things up every couple of minutes.

Any others I'm missing that you'd like to add?

America 20+! I have that on a 12" but no way to hear it! And I doubt it will ever see release on CD or in any digital form.

Do me Baby is also over 8 minutes long... one of my favorite long songs... and its beautiful. That gives it bonus points

There used to be a video up somewhere of the original recording of that song. It was Live at First Avenue... and the album version was an edited version of that with the orchestra added in.

the 16 minute version doesnt realy qualify as an "extended " version -its jsut the longer live version.

Love the long versions of Housequake, Hot Thing and Gett Off as well! The guitar in the long version of Gett Off is incredible. Another few tracks I love to blast from the speakers and shake my to!

Gett Off... yet another good choice!

I also like the 6 min. version of Delirious... that I get into a lot more than the album version (but I still like it all the same)

Cloreen Bacon Skin is great turned up loud while doing the house work.
