Hi Prince!! Hope you are well.

I wish Prince would interact more with his fans, but then I fully understand why he wouldnt want too, there are some crazed stalker types out there lol!!

But the mystery surrounding him is one of the things I like, plus I like trying to figure him out through his music.

My theory why Prince doesn't post on the org:
- He probably has a life
- He knows everything about Prince, his life and his music
- He's already paying people to check out all the Prince-related sites
- He really doesn't care what his fans think or say about him

I mean, it would be nice if he did interact more. But I was kinda "raised" to know that he's a very private man that usually doesn't seek the attention of the media. It just happens to follow him hoping to get a piece of the action, the man behind the mask.

But yes, he should be allowed to keep that mystery so I can continue getting to know him through the music. That's one of my favorite parts of this journey I've taken.
However, I'm sure that he came right out and told us that he acknowledges our support of him and is grateful for said support, people will stop saying he doesn't care.

He won't say it out loud, but deep down, I know he does care about his supporters. Without them, he wouldn't be here.

I think myspace was a genuine attempt to stay in touch with the grassroots fanbase as well as promote himself. We are mac mad in my family and all have laptops etc and are on the net almost 247 once its in yer blood it doesnt go and people saying he doesnt have time are crazy you make time, on the loo, in the bath, in bed, after partys before partys etc etc - right im going from this thread now as ive just crossed over into 'possible deluded fan territory' truth is - ive always got an opinion on everything and cant help but voice it - sorry guys!!!!

Some of the threads he starts have to do with current projects he is working on and also to ask questions about what his fans think about a song or charity he is involved with...etc etc. He also answers some of the fan questions...

I think Prince should do that, it is good for his image. He doesn't have to answer questions every week but a post once a month will be nice and he can do it on 3121 or here.

Now there a stalker fans and fans who see the artist like he was human. I have read threads where the fans have asked this singer what would be a bad time to approach him for an autograph (which by the way he freely signs). He says if he is walking his dog backstage and a fan approaches him for autographs he will sign it... but if he is walking his dog in his backyard and a fan approaches him you know it is not good! Also other places to not approach him would be at mealtime, at his hotel (he's married) or at his home.

you guys are trippin', just cuz so and so does it doesn't mean prince does. Do you know how much work goes into maintaining a pro musicians chops? and then you add to that the number of instruments prince has to do that on, the stage routines, the hiring and training of talent, that all takes well over 8 hours a day, then you have the business concerns to deal with, not to mention personal business. No he is not a regular, maybe he looks every so often out of curiousity.

If he does post who is to know? I think Prince looks on this site & others, to see what is being said about him every now & then. Everyone is curious about stuff like that. He may pretend & say he does not care...but i do think he wants to know what the fans are saying regardless bad or good.

There was an AOL chat that he used at that time. He invited certain people into chat, and in fact he also found the lady who runs the L4OA charity (or use to, not sure if she does) through those chats and may have even come up with the concept of the charity around that time. I read some of the transcripts from those chats. A very beautiful soul Prince is. I also think that he visited the chatroom on his old website L4OA. And if it's who I think it was, he was truly an inspiration and just a fun guy. I actually kind of miss those chats.

BTW, Prince used the Princebonics a lot but he wrote normal, talked normal, not in rhyme or with a "mysterious air". He was pretty forthright about what he wanted to say. Just a heads up that I've seen a few Prince pretenders who tried to write all in Princebonics and develop an air of mystery, and the guy in the chats that was certainly Prince (on AOL) just stated what he wanted to say, asked what he wanted to ask, no mystery (but did use princebonics). So if someone is typing in rhyme all the time, typing with an air of mystery, etc., chances are it's not Prince, or if they seem to want you to believe it's him, it's not him.

As stated in a previous post:

My guess is he deems it a trashy site - so he couldn't give 2 cahoots about it - 'm sure he has enough on his plate 2 worry about what's discussed here (since the majority of discussion is mindless drivel).

On that melodious note, this site does have its golden parachutes - providing a forum 2 intelligently discuss prince as an artist and pioneer....on this level it serves its purpose.

Ok, this is what I would say if I knew he were here.

"Prince, I have admired your work for a time now. You are brilliant at what you do, both musically and lyrically. You make electric guitar sound graceful and beautiful.
