A few weeks ago my friend and I were watching her 2 year old brother
and he was driving us crazy!!! I decided to let the kid listen to Prince just to calm him down but started running around and jumping off the couch when let's go crazy then started singing 17 days while running around like an idiot.


Then there's this 12 year old kid I've known since he was little and god he's such a little weirdo whenever I show him a picture of prince he starts to yell "He's gay he's gay!!!" The other day he asked me if he can listen Prince on my Ipod I was like ...okay and he asked me again the next few days to listen to Prince and I was like why are you all of a sudden obessed with Prince??

God little kids are so silly.

Little kids love Prince.... especially dancing to the music... I know my girl loves him...

I have a little kid story too...it was hilarious to me and so unexpected!

I was in the music section of the store when I came across the new Prince CD and was looking at it because I only have the one from the Sunday papers and didn't realize that the one in store had a holographic image. My 11 year old nephew asked what I was looking at so I showed him. So he says, "Is that Prince?", I'm like "Yeah". Then he says, "Is that the guy with the high voice like a lady"? That was so cute but funny at the same time. He was so serious too... he thought that I was a little weird and couldn't understand why I was laughing.

i was in the car with my little sister when prince came up in the conversation and she said 'prince isnt that famous no one really knows who he is not like that band which is letting people choose how much to buy their song for'. I replied which bands that?, to which she answered 'oh i dunno their name'

but this is the same little sister that thought funky music was created by a group of her friends who have a band on myspace

ok, I have a funny story...

My daughter gets in the car and says "Uncle Prince... Uncle Prince"..and MAKES us play Prince. (she is 2 1/2) First it was "Fury". We would play 3121 from the first song all the way through but she would say "no...no...no...no" until she got to Fury. When that song came on she would start running around the house, through the whole song.


Now it's "Guitar". She will not listen to any other Prince song. AND SHE KNOWS THE WORDS!!! "i'll wite a wetter when i wearn how to spell"

This all started back in 2004 when my husband and I were pulled up on stage to dance with Prince in DC. That weekend we found out we were pregnant with my baby girl. So that explains alot of it...

When my nephew was little, he saw my poster of Prince in the shower in his bikini underwear. My sister called me one night and said my nephew refused to take off his underwear when he got into the bathtub because Prince didn't have to take his off.
