I'm not sure Prince knows what Real love is, or would trust it if he ever saw it. Think about it where has he ever felt LASTING Love? He was out on the street when he was 12 years old. you ever seen him sing Septimo? That man will break your heart. I don't think it's very strange that it's hard for Prince to find love, as being a rich celeb. It's only natural that he find it hard to trust people, and also have to be aware about peoples intentions. I'm sure there are many golddiggers out there...
Just can't understand why people are complaining so much about his lovelife and that he can't keep a woman...how many "Hollywood-marriages" lasts? Being married for 5 years is almost worth a medallion when you're famous

Prince doesn't need love or acceptance from anybody to be happy. He understands and knows that he IS love. The man has so much self-love that I believe he has : Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) . I think the only person he loves and will ever love is himself. | |

I think Prince is pretty cool with things if not everyone in the whole world accepts him. He knows that controversy follows him everywhere and he's cool with that. For him to feel loved/accepted, all that needs to happen is he goes onstage, does what he does and has a crowd that will cheer for him and make him feel even more at home on the stage.
I'm not going to dive into his love life at the current time, though. That discussion, I can wait on for a little while. As for me, I do pretty much all can to let him know that I "love" and accept him although he may never know me or my actions personally. I buy his albums and he gets my cash. I come here every day or whenever I can and post on his behalf, speak about how he's changed me and how much his music has meant to me and also that he does a wonderful job doing what he does. And when I don't agree with something he does, I look more into the matter and accept his actions. This is for you, Prince.

Like he sings in “Future Baby Mama”, you’ve got to find a woman who has a “strong foundation that lasts forever more”. He’s not talking about superior makeup. He’s talking about a woman with a supportive backbone that loves both you and herself unconditionally. You simply can’t experience this fully with a pliable person that believes disagreement is as negative. Because you’ll never know for sure if that embrace is genuine if it doesn’t come wrapped in turmoil. Love yourself first, and the rest, even though it won’t all be as pretty and agreeable as we might all think we want, will naturally fall into place. | |

Am I the only one that can sense insecurity in Prince? I mean why can't he be natural, you know with the hair and the makeup and the 3 inch heels, those things say something. He gets over those insecurities by writing songs about 'em and finding that strength within himself to conquer them. And I think he prefers it that way. [Edited 10/5/07 17:38pm] You're not the only one who thinks Prince is insecure. He hides behind a mask (make-up, sunglasses, women, bodyguards etc.) He's always put together perfectly when in public. It's almost like he's scared to loose control, or to let his guard down. He makes sure nobody sees his imperfections. His behavior looks perfectly staged for the most part. When he performs in front of a crowd, doing what he knows best, he seems more relaxed and at peace. love the one who is Love! | |
