Which Ahdio Show Is the Best? Which was your favorite? I haven't listened to them in years. Kind of forgot about them actually. But right now I'm really enjoying #4 with all its live material. Too bad those days are gone.

Ahdio shows were such a cool idea to me, I really wish those were still made... or that others made them. I've often pondered making my own, just to share with friends. They same more personal than a mix disc. But I'd need some decent software for splicing, mixing and recording, which I don't have. I like 'em all "Knowledge is preferable to ignorance. Better by far to embrace the hard truth than a reassuring faith. If we crave some cosmic purpose, then let us find ourselves a worthy goal" - Carl Sagan

I loved all of them, but the coolest one was the January 2003 show. After the dj mix, we got a live rehearsal instrumental taste that included The Undertaker and Courtin' Time. Prince and "Montalbo Stewart" and Kirk were just hammin' it up.
Let me be the first, if I am the first, that I miss the monthly NPGMC "ahdio" shows. Good stuff. A nice peak into the psyche and vault of Prince and Paisley Park.

I miss them too. That was the thing that was so great about the NPG Club, we got the ahdio shows, plus new music and videos to watch. But, as Prince himself once sang, "All good things they say never last." RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

And wandering around the house was cool, going out in the backyard, trying to "catch" the bird that flew by in the front. Too bad it's gone.

i didn't mind the actual dj mixes ..4 me it made the shows more enjoyable without comments by the likes of geneva ..(glad her non dancing ass is gone) but in saying that.. i missed the comedy of mr hayes and femi man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81
