Prince & The AEG group, do they control him? This is just a hypothesis and opinion, but I believe there is a much larger influence behind Prince and his actions of late, one that " REALLY " puts the butter on his muffin. I am talking about The AEG worldwide Group, the money behind all of his concerts since The Musicology Tour. The man who is the " A " in AEG is Philip Anschutz, a very wealthy billionaire whose company owns The Staples Center in LA and The O2 where he just finished his run. Here's a link about him.

I am not implying that P doesn't make up his own mind and decisions, or that he's easily manipulated, but its real strange that Prince's attitude towards fanclubs has become so strong. I was just pointing out the fact that the man Phil Anschutz owns and runs The AEG company, which funds and supports Prince when he tours. At least here on earth, PA is the one with all the money and control, Prince in a contractual way works for him, unless you expect Prince to fund his whole tour schedule with his OWN money.
