I've seen that countdown loads of times. Nice to have on in the background when you're online. I laughed too much at their comments on MJ's statue floating down the Thames with the Blue Peter theme music playing over it lol

They were quite lenient on Prince compared to the rest, saying he only got away with it because he was brilliant.

I like how the Ticketmaster surchange is above David Haselhoff. That's gold.

they were probably mostly referring to that masked review ("as tora tora" rolleyes ) he did with mayte speaking for him. which was pretty retarded and very annoying. if he hadnt done that im sure his name-changing thing would have been a lot better remembered, even including all the other moments of pure assitude he indulged himself in around that time

Nah, he'd already become a joke by the time he did that interview. Here in England at least. Having SLAVE written on his cheek and being called The Artist was never gonna wash with most folks here.

I dunno...you hav eto bear in mind that the people who truly felt he was a twat for the name change (not just a bit weird) will not have heard his semi-mental explanation for it and will just be thinking he woke up and though "I know what I'll do today...". The same people who believe the 2-ribs removed to self-blowjob rumour, and Prince is gay, he mows his dads lawn in bikni bottoms...etc etc.

The countdown section concluded that he just got bored in 1999/2000 and changes his nam eback to Prince...not that PRINCE was free to work again
