It's not fan mail, it's business mail, ya goony birds, we have a world to
re-construct as generation X. The more money that the rainbow children pool, the closer the dawn, and you can bet your life some monopolizer wants my stuff...why not let someone I love have it. Give it to a giver? or sell it to a greedy? it is a very wise domain name. T

Unfortunately, it doesn't matter if mail sent to Paisley Park is 'business mail' and not technically 'fan mail'. Paisley Park doesn't know beforehand what a particular unsolicited envelope or package contains and, therefore (if your piece of mail is even accepted by Paisley Park in the first place, which is extremely doubtful) your letter or package will ultimately be thrown away and not opened because Paisley Park just doesn't want to legally take any chances which could make themselves liable or vulnerable for any kind of potential lawsuits, not to mention the other very real dangers to a celebrity of opening unknown, unsolicited mail.

If you truly are serious about contacting Prince in regards to a business-related matter, considering that lawyers are going to become involved anyway at some point (I don't mean this unkindly, Tame, but don't fool yourself into believing that what you propose would be as simple an interaction as you giving something to Prince and his either accepting it as a gift or directly giving you a small reimbursement for it The End, because that's not realistic.), my suggestion is to go through the proper legal channels from the start: i.e. contact a lawyer and explain what it is you want to do, have him or her contact the legal representitives for Paisley Park, etc, etc, and go from there.

Isn't Prince overseas right now? Write a letter, put it in a bottle, and put it in the ocean. When Prince receives it, he'll respond to it. lol
Andy is a four letter word.

Can U mail something to Paisley Park, with the faith that it will be opened by someone that would pass the information along to Prince. I would like to send Prince confirmation on a domain name that I believe he could do something with. If he felt the need to pay me for it I think I only spent twenty dollars on something he could sell for a lot more than I could?

And we wonder why Prince doesn't post on this site....

You're kidding, right?!

This is my reality of it....IF...Greatly exaggerated...IF, My domain name, could be sold for a million dollars...And I only wanted twenty dollars for it, Would it be better for me to maintain the name at twenty dollars per year?

Or, would it be wise, for me to give it to Prince, knowing that he most likely has a greater understanding of this nature than I do....After an hour of his time, he could be a Million dollars better off, and If he wanted to, He could give half of it to Sheila's Elevate Hope Charity....Some of us can't give large sums of money to participate in healing a world...

But I can afford to give that potential money maker away, and at the same time throw an invisible penny into a "Wishing Well Fund." That's called, I made a little bit of a difference.

5 weeks ago, I was in great physical condition, now I am healing...I cannot work, at the moment, when I can barely open my car door...I still have to participate in my own life...I take pride in working for God, which means working for the people...Even if I can't help myself very well. I can pray He can use the name. Okay, I would love to be able to send him a fan letter stating that I would love a job bringing him his dinner everyday, but I couldn't hold the dang tray....No mean to vent to all of you nice people...ZOZ.

Isn't attorney L. Londell McMillan still with him? If you have info that could help him, I think that would be the way to go.

I understand exactly what it is you are getting at in regards to doing what you can at any given time in your life to make a difference in the world. or to contribute something positive somewhere. We each of us need to feel useful and have a pupose.

Best wishes to you for a quick recovery. rose

Def NOT my intent.
more sarcasm cause it's just, ah, sympathy perhaps for Tame question

Tame's intent seems earnest and sincere . . . it's just kinda sad the reality that:

a) one would probably not get thru under 99% circumstance, and
b) the lengths one would have to go thru to get thru,
and still likely get no reply for a seemingly significant effort and/or expense.

your advice seems solid, however unfortunate.
wink

Divinity6 (the originator of the post), deleted out her beginning post, but if you scroll down, you will see what she said from people who quoted her in their responses. Enjoy. lol

Now if I can find the sanddollar one. hmmm Maybe someone else has that one? hmmm lol

Tame sounds like you might need to mortgage your house if you want to send Prince something.... sad
When I was at Paisley Park.... I saw some packages near the gate that seemed like they were rifled through! I noticed a framed picture of a woman (possibly a fan). I don't know why someone would give him a framed picture of themselves..as if he is going to hang it in his studio confuse
The storm was about to hit and there seemed to be no one in the Park, so I am sure the packages were ruined by the rain.
