moderatorhaha, I did a thread like this last week and I hardly got any responses for it.
Granted, I limited it to the last three albums. I'd say "The Dance" haha, cuz he duets with himself and makes it feel like 2 diff. people. But otherwise... I'd say "Beautiful Loved & Blessed" or "Take me with u" had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone | |

U Got The Look is also a very good song, but it could have been even better without Sheena Easton. She certainly didn't really make it much better, haha... | |

Take Me With U #1 U Got the Look #2 and i agree that the females COULD have been others and still as musically successful; however, in keeping with the story or Purple Rain, it WOULD be a travesty NOT 2 hear Apollonia on Take Me With U. it was such a MasterPiece all around. {incidentally, Audrey Hepburn COULD sing and her voice was nixed in some of her musical films for "better" voiceovers - i just can't remember if this applies to "My Fair Lady," "Breakfast at Tiffany's" or both. so BIG props to Apollonia!} as a whole, DUETS seem vastly unchartered territory for P.     | |
