11 now I'm 34

I was 3 apparently... Mum put ATWIAD on and i loved it! I had never responded to music like that apparently so she bought me other albums and i've been hooked ever since.

Im 24 now, so 21 years

Until i was 16 i pretty much exclusively listened to either Prince or David Bowie (tho not as much as Prince) so i spent a lot of my childhood in love with him and his music

well i started listening to prince when i was young...but i really started getting into his music and understanding it wnen i was 11...I saw him on arsenio hall...he was performing diamonds and pearls and it was his bday....i fell in love w his eyes that night and have been in love ever since. im 25 now.

I was 11 when I first heard his music in 1979, and was hooked from the start. I didn't really get a lot of what he was singing about but loved the music and his uniqueness! I was 14 when I first got to see him live during the "1999" tour with The Time and Vanity6... (memories of me running around with the tour t-shirt on, low-cut maroon boots and purple jeans!)

7(in '81) after i heard head & saw the cover 2 the dirty mind record. My 1st thought was any man that's in his underwear,raincoat & dont care what people said is alright with me.

I saw When Doves Cry on a VH1 Countdown (it was like number 3 or something) and I was just blown away by the lyrics. Now I can't get enough of Prince...

Prince....I wanna be your lover album. I've been a fan every since. Well my mom passed away several years ago. So I consider this memory of my Mom as one of my favorite.

I wsa 12/13 - it was seeing 1999 for the first time on Top of the Pops and MTV USA (I loved that show on a Sunday avo!). I am 36 now....

I always like his music growing up...around the early 80's...around the time of When Doves Cry, Raspberry Beret, Kiss...but lost touch of his music after that. Only in '03 when he blew me away at his concert did I become more interested in his music. Since that concert I bought a few cd's and for the first time saw "Purple Rain". Can you imagine that, all this time I never say this movie until just recently.

I was 21 when I first started really getting into Prince back in 1984. Gosh, I can't believe that I've liked the same artist and have followed his career for so many years. Crazy, huh?

I was 13! getting really old now at 37, remember watching purple rain on video!! Do people still have those that's how long ago. (recently bought a dvd version, just 2 keep up with techno...)
