Submitted photos for unreleased '3121' video question When NPG Music club requested photos be submitted for an as yet unreleased music video last year (3121 era), didn't they claim copyright on all submitted photos?
If this is the case, it seems to me Prince is running double standards as he'd be taking other people's work and claiming copyright for something he did not create. The images were submitted on the good will of his fans. If Prince has so much for respect of copyright, he could/should leave the copyright with the rightful owners or pay them a small fee for the ones used and return the copyright to those unused. Sure, this might cost a few dollars, but Prince isn't short of a buck or two, besides isn't he supposed to be a God loving man? If I'm wrong about this then my apologies to all, including Prince and his organisation.

It would be cool if someone (maybe one who submitted a picture) can look up the email and check, just to set the record straight...

Prince running double standards?!
Prince having no respect for rules but feeling fine enough to place the exact same rules on people "below" him?! Prince putting the love of money before the love of God?! What does this MEAN? Business as usual in Princeworld [Edited 9/29/07 0:58am]

maybe hes being hypocritical; maybe he rethought it for this reason; ionno; but as an internationally known artist for 26 years whos been embroiled in copyright issues hes got a little more at stake than the average fan who would just like to be on a video as a club member; if he hears about this he'll prolly be glad he didnt do it
